About Bristol Gastroenterology Associates

The clinical Practice was established in 1979 by two young gastroenterologists who trained at the UConn Health Center Program (Dr's Ronald Green and Kenneth Krasner), who have since retired. Over the years, the Practice has expanded and new physicians, services, and departments  were added on including the Connecticut Gastroenterology Institute and the Connecticut Clinical Research Foundation which were established in 2003 at Bristol Hospital. The Institute and the Foundation have contributed a significant number of developments, research projects, and publications some of which have been awarded distinctions from national and international societies.

"Our Mission is to provide citizens with access to compassionate and evidence based state of the art gastrointestinal and hepatological care."
